Art's Way two-way moldboard plows maintain their forward motion, whether you're crossing on land or deep in a furrow. The generous clearance allows for smooth residue flow. Our popular in-furrow 146 model plows up to 14 inches deep, with quick-set leveling pins to make the job simple, and a 3-point hitch and gauge wheel to control depth. Automatic hydraulic reset, spring trip or rigid beams are available, depending on the model.

The Art's Way on-land 166 model and 186 model plows are an extra heavy-duty moldboard plow built for use with your high-horsepower tractor. It is easily prepared for the field and simple to operate, offering you trouble-free leveling with individual quick-set shops. A big rear landside adjusts to control side draft, and you can choose between rigid or spring-trip beams on the 166 model or rigid beam on the 186 model to match your individual tillage needs. The top and bottom reinforcing plates, pivot cylinder anchor bars and plow carrier frame on this model have also been strengthened with thicker steel construction, and special welding procedures have bolstered the joint integrity. This plow is ready to meet your most intense earth-moving challenges. The Art's Way 166 model offers a choice of 4 to 6 furrows and the 186 model boast 8 bottoms to cover more acres efficiently.

Art's Way's 7501 Semi-mounted Vari-width plow is a more flexible option if your conservation plans require more surface than a traditional plow leaves, with the action that only a moldboard can give. Choose hydraulic or manual controls, paired with our adjustable width-of-cut option (to leave more residue exposed, narrow the cut; to bury residue, widen the cut) to get the best out of your tractor and plow. The 34-inch vertical clearance also enables no-plug plowing, with fore and aft clearance ranging from 32.6 to 36.8 inches, depending on your cutting width. The 7501 Semi-mounted Vari-width plow's massive mainframe features heat-treated steel forgings on trip mounting pivots, to overlay and project it for added strength. An in-furrow or on-land hitch can be added according to your needs, with field or factory-installed extensions. In-furrow plows come with 4, 5 or 6 furrows. On-land plows are available in 5- (expandable to 6), 6- (expandable to 7) and 7 furrow models.

Whatever your plowing needs, and whatever model suits the job, Art's Way trip protection will keep you on the tractor and moving forward. Rocks, stumps and hidden obstacles won't put you out of action when you have Art's Way's Auto Trip II automatic reset or Toggle Trip beams. These innovative systems can handle trip loads up to 6000 pounds, and are available on most of our plowing products.

Choose Auto Trip II automatic reset beams for severe plowing conditions. When a bottom hits a rock or another major obstruction, instead of sliding over, Auto Trip II allows it to ride up and over, immediately returning to the preset plowing depth. And when a bottom hits an obstruction it can't ride over, the system simply allows it to trip, as high as 13 inches if needed, before springing back to work without interruption. But the best part is that all you have to do is keep on plowing, with nothing to shift, lift or adjust.

Toggle Trip is designed to help beams hold firmly against high draft loads, maintaining their working position. When a bottom hits a rock, the beam trips to the rear. To reset, just stop, raise the plow, and let gravity pull the bottom back into working position. Lower the plow again and you are on your way, never having left the tractor seat.
